Artful Burlap Panel

Take the mystery out of  creating mixed media.  In this class we will learn tips and tricks to layer a background, die cuts seamlessly into your work and create a grungy background using ephemera, Distress Paint aand  Distress Markers.  The kit will allow you to choose your own background, colors and words to create personalized panel.  Bring to class:  scissors, crop-a-dile (if you have one); wet wipes and apron.

Fly Away Workshop

From the serene colors, to the miniature glass domes, this 6 x 6 Configuration box will capture your heart.  Learn how to use Distress Paint and Alcohol Ink together to bring the glass and metal pieces, like the new Foundry Frame to life.  So many techniques, and small detials like faux soldering on the domes, to vintage lace on the dress, will make this piece a keepsake for yourself or someone you love.  Bring to class:  scissors, small fussy cut scissors (optional but helpful), wet wipes, paper piercer, and small needle nose pliers.  ($65)

Vintage Meets Modern Workshop

Have you ever wondered how to mix bright colors with vintage style?  In this workshop of experimentation, you will learn the basics of Distress including using inks and stain for coloring, markers for tinting and stencils for layering.  Our final result will be this bright Worn Cover journal with five collaged pockets full of positive messages.  Each page can be pernonalized with color and message so your journal can be your own.  Bring to class:  scissors, small fussy cut scissors (sharp tip helpful), scotch tape, wet wipes and apron. ($60).
