Totally Bugged Out Tags

Bugs are no fun to have at home, but these two flying bugs will make you swoon! You will make two jumbo sized tags using several different techniques with an old favorite...Liquid Pearls...remember that product?!! Newly released Dies and Texture Fades will also be used along with the new Tim Holtz product called Frosted. You will learn so much while creating these gorgeous luster filled tags, and go home ready to use these techniques on your future projects.  Bring:  apron and tool kit.   OPTIONAL:  a sewing machine with black thread.  ($40)

The Christmastime Church Ornament

It's that time of year again...to put up and decorate the tree. In this class you will make an elegant and glitzy ornament from Tim Holtz's new Sizzix Village Dies. You will transform the die cuts into a radiant wintertime Church in all its Christmas splendor.  It will be an ornament to treasure for years to come, and hopefully you will add more to the collection using the new dies. It even comes in its own box! Bring:  apron and tool kit.  ($55)

BIRD CRAZY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Are you Bird Crazy? Come learn coloring techniques using Distress Markers, water brush and the Distress Spritzer. Each card will feature a background technique with Texture Paste, Distress Ink, stamps, Layering stencils and more.  BONUS -  Bird images are die cut for you!

Bring:   Small tool kit which includes scissors and dry adhesive and basics.  All other supplies will be provided.  ($45)

ELEGANT HOLIDAY SHADOW  BOX

Create a nostalgic holiday shadow box by transforming an ornament metal Flip Frame into a beautiful decor piece.  Threre are lots of techniques to share in the class using Distress Spray Stains, Alcohol Inks, Distress Glitter and more.   Make little pine cones and flowers using the Sizzix Tiny Tattered Floral dies, they will even have a little frosty sparkle on them  You will love the new Tim Holtz Christmas collection from idea-ology that gives the project an old time vintage look.  Join me to create this unforgetable keepsake and display for many years to come.  Bring:  small tool kit with basic supplies that includes scissors.  All other supplies will be provived.   ($70)

Pop Up Card Class 

Melody Winston

In this class we will be featuring the Build A Pop Up Die set by Stampendous.   We will make cards using the die set and stamps. The die set is very versatile and can be used with  any stamp set.  We will be using a flower and vase set to create our cards.
You will need to bring your basic tool kit and coloring medium of your choice either Copic markers or Colored Pencils and gamsol.  All other supplies will be provided.  Come ready to have fun.  ($25)

Artful Burlap Panel

Take the mystery out of  creating mixed media.  In this class we will learn tips and tricks to layer a background, die cuts seamlessly into your work and create a grungy background using ephemera, Distress Paint aand  Distress Markers.  The kit will allow you to choose your own background, colors and words to create personalized panel.  Bring to class:  scissors, crop-a-dile (if you have one); wet wipes and apron.

Fly Away Workshop

From the serene colors, to the miniature glass domes, this 6 x 6 Configuration box will capture your heart.  Learn how to use Distress Paint and Alcohol Ink together to bring the glass and metal pieces, like the new Foundry Frame to life.  So many techniques, and small detials like faux soldering on the domes, to vintage lace on the dress, will make this piece a keepsake for yourself or someone you love.  Bring to class:  scissors, small fussy cut scissors (optional but helpful), wet wipes, paper piercer, and small needle nose pliers.  ($65)

Vintage Meets Modern Workshop

Have you ever wondered how to mix bright colors with vintage style?  In this workshop of experimentation, you will learn the basics of Distress including using inks and stain for coloring, markers for tinting and stencils for layering.  Our final result will be this bright Worn Cover journal with five collaged pockets full of positive messages.  Each page can be pernonalized with color and message so your journal can be your own.  Bring to class:  scissors, small fussy cut scissors (sharp tip helpful), scotch tape, wet wipes and apron. ($60).

Copic from the Beginning

If you have always wanted to play with Copic markers or you have some but need a refresher course then this class is for you.  We will go over everything about the marker, how to choose  colors, how to shade, what do those numbers mean and more. Please bring any Copic markers you have along with your blender pen.  Everything else will be provided.  If you do not have any markers, we have  them at the store for you to buy. ($25)

Copic Hair and Skin

In this class I will teach you the art of skin color and how to color the image's hair with Copic markers. We will also go over texturing you images.  Please bring all of the Copic markers you own. We will have a set of skin and hair Copic markers for you to buy. Everything else will be provided.  ($25)
