“The Westbrook Men’s Club”
Joni Russell

This is the first book in the Artful Bookshelf series. A cigar box is the case that is fitted with dividers to hold our book and vintage memorabilia including an antique radio tube. The book will be made from book cloth and reproduced deconstructed cigar book parts. The pages will features stamped images of our new Westbrook Men’s Club series and vintage papers. Bring basic tool kit, ie. scissors, craft knife, adhesives etc. ($65)

“Woman in White Canvas”
        Joni Russell

Collage a 11X14 canvas with stamps, papers, embossing powders, found objects, fibers and ribbons. Using paints and inks you will lay down the background of your work then learn a bit about composition and material balance to bring your piece together. We will be working with paper weaving, vellum and dimensional pieces to give added interest to your piece. Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any special or found white or ivory colored element ie. button etc. to accent your work. Bring basic tool kit, ie. scissors, craft knife, adhesives etc. ($60)

“Copper Transfer Bracelet"
    Joni Russell

Learn copper etching and image transfer. Link together 1 inch transformed copper square tiles and learn to embellish with charms and beads. Cold connection techniques of riveting, wire wrapping and jump rings will be taught. Several different themes will be available. Class comes with enough copper tiles to make up to 6 transfers and 3 etched tiles. Bring basic jewelry tools, round nose, chain nose, flush cutters and scissors. “Bottle Transformation”
    Joni Russell

Antique bottles make the base of our project. Use wax dipped lace, rusty screen, soldered bands, ribbons, keys, pins, trinkets, found objects and anything but the kitchen sink to decorate your piece. You will receive a pre-soldered bottle, lace, rusty screen, ribbon, vintage filler shred, small trims, wire and wax. Other trim pieces will be available for sale, but you are welcome to bring your own lace bits, found objects and trinket to use on your bottle. Bring basic tool kit, ie. scissors, craft knife, adhesives etc. Also your basic jewelry tools, round nose, chain nose and flush cutters. ($60)

We will be making Thanksgiving and Christmas cards in this class.
So get a jump start on your annual cards. There will be six cards using stamps, die cuts, ribbon and
glitter.  All supplies provided. ($55)
