Cricut Classes at the Asylum

Bibi Morris is coming to teach us how to use our Cricut machines on Saturday, September 20th. Call the store to sign up for any or all the classes listed below.

Is your Cricut or other die cutting machine collecting dust? This class is for everyone who needs an easy, fun way to create gifts for everyone on your list. By cutting sheet vinyl and using etching cream, we can make some fantastic etchings that look like you spent all day but actually finished in less than half and hour! Bring your die cutting machine and two clear {not frosted} glass pieces to etch. These can be as simple as a picture frame with a glass in it, or a wine glass, beer steins, glass plates. Avoid globe shapes and blown glass.

Do you have a die cutting machine that you are using to its full potential? these machines are great for not only scrapbookers, but card makers alike. If you have a machine or you are considering purchasing one, this is the class for you! This class will introduce you to all the wonderful ways you can use these machines for all kinds of projects you never dreamed of. This is an overview class and while topics will be touched on, they cannot all be taught in detail in one class. Inkscape is an open source program used to create files that can be cut using Sure Cuts Alot on the Cricut or Craft Robo, Wishblade or Silhouette. It can be used with dingbats to make connected titles with mats, borders, overlays and any type of die cut necessary for your cardmaking or scrapbooking or more. Bring your die cutting machine.
